PAWNBROKERS AND SECOND-HAND DEALERS ACT 1996

Sydney Gold Buyers Pty Ltd is a registered NSW Second Hand Dealer (License No. 2PS07474) and are therefore bound to the laws below. This is to ensure that our business process is fair, genuine and reputable.

Any information provided to Sydney Gold Buyers P/L (the licensee) in relation to the selling of goods may be furnished to the police.

The law stipulates that photo identification (e.g. Australian drivers licence) must be produced when selling your gold, diamonds, jewellery and/ or coins. Other valid identification includes either a current Australian passport with a card or document issued by the government, or a statutory authority of New South Wales or the Commonwealth or another State or Territory bearing the signature of the seller.

You have a legal right to claim goods from Sydney Gold Buyers Pty Ltd that you have good reason to believe are yours. Go to any Police Station and a police officer will advise you of your rights and what you will need to do. Any items sold to Sydney Gold Buyers will be held for 14 days in accordance with the law.
